4-24-15: Breakfast

I made breakfast this morning, and it was absolutely delicious.

I have made this one a few times before. so I figured I would share it with you.

What you'll need: 

• Vanilla Almond Milk
• A bowl
• Walnuts
• Almonds
• A banana
• 2 strawberries
• A handful of blueberries
• Flaxseed

I started out by taking out the fruit I would be using, and then I rinsed the berries.

Then, I cut the strawberries and the banana. I placed all the fruit into the bowl,

topping the fruit with walnuts, almonds, and flaxseed. Then covered the fruit and toppings with vanilla almond milk.

Beginning of Spring: Photoshoot

The other day my best friend, Veronica, and I had a little photo shoot. It was the first warm day we had seen it months, and it finally felt like spring. Naturally, we were extremely excited. Veronica did my makeup and helped me choose an outfit, but I ended up taking more pictures of her. (I prefer to be the photographer instead of the one being photographed)

I love the pictures, and my dog even joined in at one point, so without further ado, here are our pictures: (she's the blonde)

Yes, we were wearing the same jacket, she borrowed mine, lol.

Meet My Dog : Shunderson

Hi! For this post I thought you all could get to know me a little bit better.

I have decided to introduce you to my dog, Shunderson. He is a golden retriever who is turning 5 years old in a few days.

I think he's quite the poser, haha. His name comes from an old Cary Grant movie where the character Mr.Shunderson was Cary Grant's loyal companion. A loyal companion is exactly what Shunderson is. The sweetest dog you'll ever meet, the worst he could do is lick you to death.

Hi everyone! It is now 2015, and with a new year comes new things. So I figured that I should share my new years resolutions with you.

New Year's Resolutions:

Must-Haves In My School Bag for 2014-2015

 It is almost the end of September meaning it's that time of year again. Yep, school. So in the spirit of the school season I decided to tell you some of my 2014-2015 School Bag Must-Haves.

First off you need your school bag which you will most likely be using all year to carry all your binders, writing tools, folders, notebooks, and sometimes other things like your computer, tablet, and phone (who I am I kidding, sometimes? I need my phone always). Your school bag is very important so you must make sure it is appropriately sized and durable for what you are carrying. 

My bag as of right now is my Vera Bradley. I may get a new bag this year, but in past years this has worked perfectly.

One must have that I always carry in my bag are MINTS. In some schools you can't have gum, and when it loses its taste it can taste very bland. Gum also causes gas (I bet you're all saying "ew." right now). So I like to take Mentos or Ice Breaker Mints, and I will have at least one everyday after lunch. I don't want to have horrible breath when I am talking to my classmates for the rest of the day after lunch, and also I hate when I have a disgusting taste in my mouth. Mints are lifesavers (I didn't realize that that could be taken as a pun till after I typed it, I am sorry, ahah).

Another Must-Have of mine is a handsanitizer. I prefer a Bath & Body Works one because that way your hands don't just smell like alcohol or cleaning product. In school you touch a lot of germs and you don't want to be getting sick, so it's important to use that before lunch and after gym, and whenever else you feel like using it.

A mini pocket mirror is also a good thing to carry in your bag for daily check ups on your makeup and to make sure you have nothing on your face or in your teeth. That is a Must-Have.

My final must have for this post is extra pens/pencils. In your bag you should try to carry 1 or 2 extra pens and/or pencils in case you forget you pencil case.

Katy Perry Concert

Recently I went to  a Katy Perry Concert with a good friend of mine, and it was one of the most entertaining things I had ever seen. 

Katy Perry is a great entertainer with her various outfit changes, and stage props. Everything came together nicely, and it was so impressive to see how well thought out the show was.

I would try to explain it all but somethings are better described in pictures.  So below are some pictures from Katy's Concert.

Three Of My Summer 2014 Must-Haves

Hello! It is now August, meaning summer is almost over for me. I figured I should tell you things that were/are my Summer Must-Haves.

One of my Summer Must-Haves is Neutrogena's Sensitive Skin Sunblock Lotion. I am extremely pale so I burn quite easily, especially on my face, so it is very important to protect my skin. It is also a very good sunblock for people with sensitive skin since it is very gentle on the skin.

I got mine from CVS, you could probably find it at any store near you that sells Neutrogena products.

My next Summer Must-Have is my  Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil in 071 Pure White. I got this eyeliner from ULTA and it works very well. I have found it really brightens my eyes when I put it on the inner corners of my eye and/or my waterline.

Lastly I shall talk about my aviator style sunglasses. They are my favorite sunglasses in the summertime, and overall. They are just so cute, and look amazing with every outfit. I got these from Kohl's last year.
